About the Client:

With a commitment to innovation and the creation of inspiring work spaces, our client is currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join its dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of construction and fit-out projects. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in quantity surveying, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management:
  • Oversee and manage project costs from inception to completion.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction and fit-out elements.
• Contract Administration:
  • Administer contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Budget Monitoring:
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Identify and address cost variations and potential risks.
• Quantity Take-offs:
  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost analyses.
  • Collaborate with project teams to validate quantities and costs.
• Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and accurate cost advice to support decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction and fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
• Strong analytically and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and relevant regulations.
