Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: West London

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract and a background in construction, infrastructure, or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost estimates.
  • Review and analyse tenders from contractors and subcontractors.
  • Track changes to design and construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly.
  • Measure and value the work done on-site.
  • Liaise with clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, and site engineers.
  • Ensure that projects meet legal and quality standards.
  • Report on financial performance to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or finance.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
