Your new company
Hays Construction are now recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a highly reputable, family-run main contractor based in Ballymena. This contractor has built an excellent reputation for providing an innovative and progressive approach to all projects. Due to continued success and a further increase in company growth, a position is now available for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team.

Your new role
Within your new role you will manage the cost of projects worth up to £3m. You will be responsible for providing Quantity Surveyor functions including commercial transactions, commercial reporting and cash flow management on allocated projects. You will work within an integral part of the business, reporting directly to the Commercial Manger and working closely with the Operational Team, ensuring projects are delivered on programme and within budget. You will be predominately office based and required on site across Northern Ireland.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree-educated Quantity Surveyor and must have at least 3 years of experience with a main contractor. You will be computer-literate and will have experience of using relevant software. You will be ambitious, commercially astute, and keen to establish yourself as a Quantity Surveyor with an established main contractor, who will be offering you a long-term view.
