Our client is a privately owned business established over 30 years ago, specialising in Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Major infrastructure projects. Due to the growth, the company is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a several projects and form a crucial part of the commercial team.

As part of the commercial team, you will be in charge of ensuring the financial success of the project. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

·To work as a member of the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to a very high standard.

·Monthly CVR reporting

·Sub contractor management of payments / accounts

·Review of commercial gains / losses available to ensure commercial success of the project

·Work closely with the site team, clients and professional consultants to understand the progress of the project

·Procurement and management of the supply chain

What you'll need:

·Professional Qualification

·Prior experience delivering Groundworks / Civil Engineering projects as a lead QS

·Residential or major infrastructure/highways project experience

·Strong procurement skills

·Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills

·Ability to work autonomously

·Demonstrable experience of working in and managing a team of Surveyors
