Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of roofing and cladding projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
   • Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects.
   • Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets.
2. Materials Selection:
   • Provide unbiased advice on material options based on performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
   • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
3. Project Programming:
   • Develop project schedules and timelines.
   • Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed.
4. Problem Solving:
   • Identify and address challenges related to roofing and cladding installations.
   • Collaborate with the technical team to find innovative solutions.
5. Contract Administration:
   • Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
   • Handle variations and change orders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in roofing and cladding projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, cost estimating tools).
