Quantity Surveyor & Estimator

Location – Northwest

£45,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Company Car + Hybrid Working + Flexitime + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Employee Discount Scheme + Health & Wellbeing + more

Are you a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator looking for the chance to join a fast-growing Northwest company within the heating solutions and BMS and sector, in a role offering excellent opportunities for further progression?

This company are in a period of ongoing expansion and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team.

The Role:

  • Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and manage project risks related to cost control.
  • Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
