In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations, from handling customer and supplier queries to enhancing processes to meet quality objectives. With a focus on growth and progression, this position offers a supportive environment where you can thrive.
What's in it for you? A competitive salary of £24,000 to £28,000, as well as the opportunity to work flexibly. This role can accommodate part time hours if needed – e.g 25-30 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the Supplier approval process
- Completing customer questionnaires accurately
- Compiling product specifications with attention to detail
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Supporting NPD activities and documentation
- Generating reports to support decision-making
- Ensuring traceability for BRCGS Standard compliance
- Previous experience with food specifications
- Ability to liaise effectively with customers
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- A driving license (advantageous due to company location)
