Exciting Opportunity: Quality Systems Engineer for a Leading Engineering Firm
 
We are working with a prestigious international engineering and technology organization specializing in operational technology, process control, safety shutdown systems, and metering/measurement instrumentation. This firm is seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Engineer to join their Measurement business unit based in Tunbridge Wells. This role is integral to ensuring product quality through the development, evaluation, and implementation of rigorous technical protocols.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee document control for welding operations and manage quality databases.
  • Review Welding Procedure Specifications and Non-Destructive Testing inspections.
  • Liaise with certification bodies and customers on quality standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance visits to vendor locations, ensuring standards compliance.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures and specifications, taking charge of the Quality Management System.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Experience in quality systems, familiarity with ISO:9001.
  • Knowledge of welding, fabrication standards, and best practices.
  • Engineering degree preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including international trips.
Offering:
  • Up to £50,000 per annum, plus a 5% annual bonus.
  • A permanent, full-time role with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
