Monday - Friday: 8.30AM - 5.00PM

Annual Salary of £30,000

Our client based in Bristol are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join their vibrant team. The salary is £30,000 working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
Day to day responsibility for all aspects of Quality at the site. To maintain customer confidence that materials acquired from the company are and will continue to be to their purchase order requirements. To ensure that the purchases made by the company are correct. To ensure that the quality system is maintained and complies with regulatory authorities & various company approvals. Provide a source of knowledge to other employees with regard to Quality related matters. Undertake continuous improvement activities as directed by the Group Quality Manager.

Day to Day Duties

  • Flow down the requirements of the company Quality Management System & AS9120 to all employees and advise on any relating queries
  •  Monitor and measure the output of key processes against defined targets to meet the expectations of internal & customer requirements
  •  Implement continuous improvement to improve production processes in conjunction with the Operations Management Team
  •  Provide support to the warehouse, sales and shipping department for quality related issues.
  •  Familiar with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 QMS standards requirements • Internal auditing • Addressing customer complaints and rejections on suppliers • Producing quality reports • Problem resolution experience • Able to work as part of a quality team or individually • Understanding of measurements and tolerances

Essential Skills

  •  Familiar with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 QMS standards requirements
  •  Internal auditing
  •  Addressing customer complaints and rejections on suppliers
  •  Producing quality reports
  •  Problem resolution experience
  •  Able to work as part of a quality team or individually 

Desirable Experience

  •  Experience of export licensing requirements for controlled products and how to apply for licences
  •  Familiarity with customers and vendors in the supply chain and their quality requirements and capabilities
  •  Hand held measuring equipment experience.
  •  Ability to Produce FAIR reports.
