Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for a Quality Sampling Operative to join a leading Manufacturing Client in the Llantrisant area.

Permanent position.

Position Overview

To follow the Clients Quality System ensuring that products supplied to customers are of the highest possible standard. The Sampling Operative supports the Quality Control team in a way that benefits the sites performance in the areas of Quality, Cost and Delivery.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

* Sample in accordance with the Clients Quality System, standards and specifications.

* Ensure that relevant traceability paperwork is available and correct.

* Communication of any issues and non-compliances with samples, containers or paperwork to the relevant staff.

* Adhere to the safety requirements with regards to chemical handling.

* Administrative duties including consumable stock management, timely completion of paperwork and management of the retainer stores.

* Organising work to ensure customer priorities are met.

* Maintaining high housekeeping standards and working to Good Laboratory Practices.

* To support the Quality Department and Manager in any other relevant quality tasks including but not limited to internal audits, training of new staff, preparation of procedures or assisting with investigations.

Qualifications

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.

* Good standard of Education.

* Good standard of written English and Mathematics.

* Good communication skills and attitude.

Skill Requirements

* Organised.

* Team Player.

* Good time management.

* Flexible - able to work outside of core hours to ensure business targets are met.

* Competent and self motivated.

Desirable Skills

* Data handling/PC Skills.

* Able to work under pressure to achieve tight delivery schedules.

* Able to identify opportunities to implement new ideas and generate creative solutions.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday/37 hours a week.

Monday to Thursday 6am to 1.30pm/Friday 6am to 1.20pm.

Monday to Thursday 1.30pm to 9.30pm/Friday 1.30pm to 6.30pm.
