Quality Officer

Are you ready to make an impact in the logistics and warehousing industry? Join our team as a Quality Officer, based in Washington, Sunderland. We are a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, dedicated to innovation and excellence in customer service.

About the Role: The Quality Officer supports the development and management of quality functions and compliance responsibilities. Collaborating with the Quality and Training Manager, you'll establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System and support Genba Kanri (GK) Improvement activity.

Main Tasks:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support customer requirements
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Communicate effectively with line managers and employees
  • Monitor and improve GK and ISO standards
  • Police adherence to quality processes
  • Support continuous improvement and development of GK and ISO Standards

Results:

  • Maintain KPIs and improve employee quality through training
  • Support change within the business
  • Meet business targets and personal development objectives
  • Successfully complete GK and ISO audits

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Logistics and Warehousing industry
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Experience with Gemba Kanri and ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Proficient in auditing and report writing
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Full UK driving licence required
