Quality Manager

We are currently working with an organisation in Havering and Redbridge who are looking to hire a Quality Manager who has a genuine passion for efficiency and delivering quality products.

The successful appointee will be responsible for the quality of the products released, and take accountability for maintaining ISO9001.

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

• Maintenance of QMS and ISO9001 accreditation
• Implementing IMS for additional accreditations
• Oversight of product inspection, spot checks, investigation of non-conformities
• Oversight of the inspection team, training and coaching staff, inducting new starters
• Overseeing internal audits and leading on external audits
• Advising on Environment, Health and Safety
• Conducting Risk Assessments

Skills & Experience Required (non-exhaustive):

• Experience maintaining a QMS to ISO9001
• Experience in a QM role within a manufacturing environment
• Inspection experience, visual and use of tools eg Micrometers, calipers
• Experience managing a team and strong leadership skills
• Auditing experience
• Experience of HSE requirements and legal standards
