First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

  • Temp to perm after 12 weeks
  • £16/hr while through agency
  • 14-14.50/hr on permanent
  • 39hr work week
  • 4.5 day work week
  • 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
  • OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Duties will involve the following:

  • inspection of quality of final products including welds and assembly
  • reading design and assembly drawings
  • interpersonal, organisational and managerial skills

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • experience of working in an industrial environment
  • basic experience in mechanical assembly and/or welding
  • experience of reading engineering drawings
