Do you have experience inspecting a range of high-precision, manufactured components? If so, this position could be perfect for you! Our client is a large, and well-respected aerospace manufacturing organization and they are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their Derby-based operation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience inspecting a range of components with dimensional measurement tools (gauges, micrometres, verniers etc), and would have worked within a highly regulated industry.

Job Description
  • Inspect a range of machined and fabricated components, using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/calipers, gauges, micrometers etc
  • Carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations
  • Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making appropriate quality decisions
  • Support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Well-versed inspecting a range of high precision components/parts, to tight tolerances
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail for example)
  • Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/calipers, gauges, micrometers etc
  • Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills
