Quality Inspector

OSI Food Solutions are seeking Quality Inspectors to join their team on an ongoing, full-time basis, offering temporary to permanent contracts for the right individuals that show commitment through performance and attendance.

OSI Food Solutions is a global supplier of meat products supplying the world's leading food services and retail food brands offering training, development and prospects for employees that can demonstrate enthusiasm, hard-work and willingness towards duties required.

Shifts:
Afternoon / Evening; 3.30pm - 01.00am Monday to Thursday / 3.30pm - 7.30pm Friday

Pay rates:
£12.02ph + 10% Shift Allowance (£13.22ph)

Overtime is readily available over 40 hours and paid at;
Monday to Saturday - x1.5
Sunday - x2

Required Skills / Attributes:
? To carry out Quality checks (including CCP) as documented to OSI procedures
? Monitoring of plant hygiene throughout the shift
? Cleaning of quality equipment as per procedures.
? To complete all compliance checks and input onto computer.
? Communication of problems to the relevant departments
? Calibration of equipment.
? Reporting of all incidents, e.g. contamination.
? GMP and PPE audits.
? Carry out traceability's.
? Issue corrective actions and concessions.
? Use Navision to hold and release product
? Assist new colleagues to integrate into the role and the business.
? Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures including Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation requirements. As an employee, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires you to take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work.
