Quality Inspector

Location: Harlow
Salary: £15p/h - £19p/h dependant on Experience

A trusted provider of support to military and regional operators are recruiting for a Quality Inspector. Prioritising long-term customer relationships and specialise in MRO services, particularly in landing gear and hydraulic support for civilian, cargo, firefighting, and military markets. With a recent workshop expansion by 50% marks the first phase of their growth, reflecting their continuous commitment to excellence.

Job Profile
Quality Inspector required to join a well-established aircraft repair and overhaul company in the Harlow area. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar inspection role and will be able to demonstrate appropriate skillsets.

Duties:

  • Verify product compliance with drawings/specifications.
  • Detect and document any non-compliant items.
  • Proficient in Reading and Interpreting engineering diagrams.
  • Capable of precision measurements using Micrometers, Verniers, and Calipers, among others.
  • Demonstrate methodical and precise work with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Efficient team player and self-starter.


Skills & Attributes:

  • Apprenticeship or formal qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering is desirable.
  • Previous inspection experience.
  • Experienced with measurement equipment and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Hours of Work:

  • 39 hours per week
  • 7:30 - 16:30 Mon - Thurs & 7:30 - 12:30 Fridays
