Quality Inspector, Harlow

Currently recruiting for a well established manufacturing company producing products on their CNC lathes and milling machines based in Harlow,. Essex, who offer job security and working Monday to Thursday.

The role is Quality Inspector and the role responsibilities include:-

Maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, process production and finished products in line with ISO 9001

  • Checking calibration equipment monthly to ensure the correct alignment
  • Inspecting and measuring precision parts produced
  • Recording quality results on Microsoft Excel
  • Raising Dispatch documents including Certificates of Conformance, PPAP’s (production part approval process) and Initial sample inspection reports
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams
  • Read manufacturing drawings with a good understanding of GD&T symbols to ensure products are produced to customer requirements
  • Create and document procedures and conduct and internal audit for ISO 9001

Seeking a person with experience within the manufacturing industry, ideally working with CNC machines but must be able to read drawings with GD&T symbols and who lives within easy commuting distance of Harlow, Essex.
