We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team in Harlow.

NO WORK ON FRIDAY!!!

Monday to Thursday 7 am to 5 pm, with half an hour for lunch.

£32,000 to £40,000, depending on your experience.

Our client is looking for someone with a background in precision engineering, either as a Quality Inspector or as a machinist looking for your next career step.

This is a hands on role. On a day to day basis you will be:

  • Inspecting and measuring precision parts
  • Recording and reporting results
  • Troubleshooting on the shop floor
  • Checking production set up and resolving issues
  • Passing feedback to the team on the shop floor
  • Inspecting parts to technical drawings
  • Using equipment such are micrometers, verniers and guages.

You will be involved in process planning and revisions, and ISO9001 document management, but this is a small part of the role.

We would like to find someone friendly, a good communicator, a team player and confident enough to give negative feedback if necessary!

Experience you will have:

  • Machining environment
  • CNC and manual machines, manual turning, grinding
  • Computerised measuring machines - ideal but not essential.
