Quality Engineer

I'm recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work on a freelance basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your primary duties will include:

• Developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures
• Conducting inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
• Analysing data and metrics to track quality performance and make data-driven recommendations
• Providing guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters
• Contributing to the development of quality documentation, including SOPs and work instructions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role, preferably in the engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) are a plus
