Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading automotive company, recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to be based in Coleshill.  
 
Working with the designers and engineers you will play a pivotal role ensuring the highest standards of quality are meet and processes adhered too.
 
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Maintain and operate within IATF16949 quality system requirements and customer-specific requirements.
  • Apply Quality core tools like SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving to enhance customer satisfaction and prevent quality concerns.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • SPC/R&R and MSA: Maintain and monitor statistical process control, measurement systems analysis, and capability.
  • Support Assembly/Project teams in creating and maintaining core tools documentation required for customer submissions.
  • Engage with customers and suppliers on quality issues from planning processes to problem-solving/resolutions.
  • Complete audits in line with company and industry standards like IATF16949 and ISO14001.
Skills & experience required
  • HND in Mechanical/Production Eng./Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in automotive quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D problem-solving.
  • Good knowledge of automotive new business practices like PPAP and APQP.
