Prime Accountants has grown from humble beginnings into a pillar of the Midlands business landscape.

We’re an independent practice with offices in Birmingham, Solihull, and Coventry, with growth and acquisition ambition.

But this isn't about us, it's about you - who you are, what you enjoy, and what your career aspirations are.

During our informal meeting, we just want to get to know you, understand your skills, what you’d like to learn, and how we can help you in your journey.

Our people are our biggest assets.

In this newly created corporate advisory role, you’ll be working closely with our Tax Director, Emma, supporting a range of business-owners of all sizes, structures, and industries.

This is a great opportunity for you to learn, gain exposure, and progress in your career.

Confidence and gravitas will serve you well, and if you’re career-driven that’s great - we foresee you building a team around you as step up.

If you don’t know the answer, you’ve got the confidence to say, and the proactive nature to research and find out.

You can expect to work on projects such as:

  • Structuring corporate groups including management buy-out, sale of business, demergers and succession planning.
  • Corporation tax planning including capital allowances, losses.
  • Income extraction, IHT, and CGT planning for FOMB’s.
  • Property businesses planning and including VAT and SDLT.

As a Tax Senior, you’ll benefit from:

  • A salary between £30,000 - £40,000.
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays, and a buy/sell scheme - up to 5.
  • Flexible working hours are available.
  • Healthcare schemes that include but are not limited to dental, optical, and private healthcare.
  • Cycle to work scheme - up to £3,000 over 12-36 months.
  • Death in service scheme.

You'll have experience of working in accountancy practice, knowledge of corporate tax, and a good understanding of accounts.

If you’ve completed training or are currently studying AAT, ATT, ACA, or ACCA, that would be useful.

If you'd like to find out more before applying, you can contact our recruitment partner, Lindsey Hazle, she’ll be happy to answer any questions that you may have, tell you more, and organise a meeting for us.

Don't worry if your CV isn't up to date, we can talk through your recent experience.

All applications and interest will receive a response.

Please note, all speculative/unsolicited CVs will be forwarded to the named recruiter.
