Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a Quality Engineer to join an outstanding manufacturer based in Sheffield. The business offers an excellent retention rate and progression opportunities.

The Quality Engineer will be confident and able to work autonomously as well as working closely with the current Quality Manager to support the business maintaining compliance to the QMS and external regulatory standards. Lead NPI projects for Quality validation and be direct contact for Quality issues for customers. As well as this, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience of forging, casting, or machining manufacturing environment
• Extensive experience within highly regulated environment (ISO13485, AS9100, IATF16949 will be considered)
• Lead NPI Validation projects
• Ownership and support of continuous improvement projects and overall quality improvement plans
• Extensive experience of leading third-party audits and managing audit schedules
• Direct contact for customers for Quality issues
