THE BUSINESS:

C4S Search are pleased to be working with an aircraft manufacturing company.

THE QUALITY ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

  • Utilize expertise in Special Processes (e.g., Heat Treat, NDT, Shot peen, Chemical Processing, Coatings, Grinding, etc.) to assess, select, and maintain compliance with new and existing Suppliers.
  • Provide assistance during supplier selection processes and the launch of new programs.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and formally document findings.
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Gauge R & R, SPC, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
  • Support FAIR/DVI reviews and approvals, integrating APQP principles.
  • Assist internal teams as needed.
  • Champion the application of Lean principles in all Special Processing activities.
  • Review and authorize manufacturing data.
  • Maintain and update Quality systems and SharePoint sites.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

  • Certified Lead Assessor
  • Essential experience with ISO9001, AS9100, and NADCAP
  • Desirable familiarity with CAA Part 21/145
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Analytical thinker with structured organization and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient communicator across all levels
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships
  • Commercially aware
  • Innovative problem solver
  • Team player with independent initiative
