Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering? If so, my client who specialise in bespoke machinery manufacturing, are looking for a Quality Engineer based in South of Birmingham.

Position – Quality Engineer
Location – South of Birmingham
Contract Type – Permanent

Position - Quality Engineer
The successful candidate will work on projects full cycle from cradle to grave, from initial concept and design through to commissioning.
A strong technical mechanical engineering background is important for this role.

Responsibilities - Quality Engineer
  • Ensure projects are compliant with machinery guidelines
  • You will be responsible for reviewing 3D CAD drawings
  • Identification of risks during design stage and mitigate
  • Create installation/commissioning risk assessments
  • Management of FAT’s and creating acceptance test plans
  • Create quality plans for external components and parts
  • Generate FMEA documentation

Experience/Qualifications Required – Quality Engineer
  • Degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering)
  • Ideally good experience with mechanical design
  • Experience managing risk assessments
