Do you have experience in a Quality role and looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and established company? Our client, a leading manufacturing company are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join their team based in Andover, Hampshire.

As the Quality Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating all quality activities to ensure that our client's products and services meet the needs of their clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing and improving quality control processes and procedures to maintain cost-effective and efficient methods.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and implementing improvements to the quality management system to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining effective corrective actions and methods.
  • Working with the leadership team to ensure that departments and individuals have the necessary skills and training for delivering quality performance results.
  • Conducting internal, supplier, and third-party quality system audits.
  • Collaborating with Procurement, Operations, and Design & Engineering on supplier quality management.
  • Assessing supplier capabilities and monitoring supplier quality.
  • Working closely with Design Engineering on new product development and design changes.
  • Implementing NPI processes into company procedures.
  • Conducting inspections of production, process, and quality programmes within the supply chain.
  • Monitoring and reporting company and supplier KPIs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturing, inspection, and quality standards.
  • Background in quality management and knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a quality role.
  • Familiarity with drawings for manufacture.
  • Experience with a wide range of materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Previous experience with international manufacturing.
  • Experience working in a small to mid-size company.
