Are you an experienced QC worker looking to move into a really technical and interesting product? Perhaps you want to move from shop floor to launch a career in quality control?

Imagine casting your detail orientated eye over some of the nation’s favourite foods, because that’s the job. Checking consistency of product against exacting customer and consumer standards- a tasty challenge for an enthusiastic candidate.

The role comes with an attractive annual salary, 24 days holiday, enhanced pension and life insurance. It’s also constant day shift!

Products are manufactured at different sites, so while you will be predominantly based in Hitchin you’ll need to be able to drive yourself across Bedford on an expensed basis.

If you are an experienced QC professional, you’ll need to demonstrate following processes and recording data accurately in a controlled environment. But if you don’t have this experience we need to know why you think you’d be great at this.

You’ll be a personality that is passionate about food and determined to uphold the standards of some of the biggest high street retailers in the UK. They are the best- so they expect your best in this role.

Experience of using, maintaining and calibrating testing machinery would be helpful as well. You’ll be working in an environment regulated by food hygiene standards so some experience of a regulated manufacturing setting would be helpful.
