Quality Control Inspector

• Position: Quality Control Inspector
• Salary:£25,000
• Location: Horsham, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 17.15 and Friday 8.30 - 15.30

First Recruitment Services are delighted to be supporting our client, an expert in their field with 50 years' industry experience. Recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector on a permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Undertake stage inspection of electrical sub-assemblies, first off inspections and recording/reporting results.
• Assisting with assembly and test procedures as and when required.
• Operating to relevant company quality standards and guidelines.
• Undertaking other quality control related activities.

Experience:

(Essential)

• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Flexible and adaptable in approach.
• A willingness to learn new skills.

(Desirable)

• Sound knowledge of the use of mechanical and optical measurement instrumentation.
• Previous experience of inspection and quality control within an engineering/small batch assembly environment.
• Familiarity with BS EN ISO9001 quality standard.
• Basic computer data entry is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
