Quality Assurance Technician - Perfect Entry Level Opportunity - Global Organisation - Castleford, N. Yorkshire, £22k - £30k (DoE)


Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for an experienced QA Administrator / Technician or a recent school / university leaver with a keen interest in pursuing a career in QA, to join them as a QA Technician at their Castleford site and be part of an amazing team.

Key responsibilities as the Quality Assurance Technician will include:

  • Checking print production materials to ensure compliance
  • Checking and releasing trial materials for dispatch
  • Assisting in supplier monitoring and evaluation activities - testing new materials as necessary
  • Conducting calibration activities for on-site equipment
  • Investigating customer complaints which relate to technical or quality failures
  • Conducting pre-production tests for client projects
  • Conducting internal audits to verify practices comply with QMS procedures
  • Producing reports as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar QA Administrator / Technician role or solid administration skills together with a strong desire to pursue a career in a QA
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Focused and detail oriented
  • Ability to comply with processes and procedures
  • If experienced, knowledge of audits and pre-production tests is highly advantageous
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • IT literate with the ability to maintain documentation, analyse data and produce reports
  • Proactive team player
  • Desire to learn and progress
