JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Assurance Team Leader, QA Team Leader, QC Manager - Food
 
Joining our growing QA team, as one of our Quality Assurance Team Leaders you'll be responsible for all critical Quality aspects of our busy fresh produce facility.  
 
Your role will include:
· Leading a team of 4 Quality Assurance Technicians.
· Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
· Ensuring product safety, legality, and quality
· Optimising processes, leading internal audits & non-conformances,
· Managing data analysis,
 
Additionally, as a Quality Assurance Team Leader you'll  help to achieving departmental KPIs, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall operational excellence of the organisation.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Quality Assurance Team Leader, QA Team Leader, QC Manager - Food
 
To join us as one of our Quality Assurance Team Leaders you MUST have a proven track record as a QA within a fresh produce environment and be qualified to HACCP Level 1 as a minimum.
 
In addition, you will demonstrate:  
· Leadership abilities to mentor and nurture the Quality Assurance Team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively promote a Food Safety and Quality culture and collaborate with internal teams.
· A proactive approach in conducting thorough internal audits.
· An analytical mindset to collect and analyse data for KPIs, trend analysis, and problem-solving.
 
You will also show the adaptability and reliability to handle various responsibilities, from managing documentation and specifications to providing team cover during absences.
