Quality Assurance Manager (Solar PV)

Urgent requirement for a Solar PV Quality Assurance Manager for a leading Renewable Energy company based in the Leeds area.

This will be an initial 2-3 month contract followed by a permanent position at the company.

As a Quality Assurance Manager in the Solar PV sector, you will leverage your expertise in Solar PV compliance to ensure the highest quality standards in our solar installations. This includes conducting virtual site audits, providing customer support, and collaborating with design teams.

You will actively address compliance issues (NAPIT/MCS) and ensure G99 connection requirements are met through thorough quality assurance inspections.

Details:

• Quality Assurance Manager (Solar PV)
• Office based (Leeds area)
• Occasional travel to sites for on-site inspections
• £275/day
• 3 months (initial contract, followed by a salaried permanent position)

Responsibilities as the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Ensure the highest quality standards in our solar installations.
• conducting virtual site audits for potential Solar installations
• Providing excellent customer support with in depth technical knowledge
• Collaborate with the Solar Design team on customer requirements and project stages
• Manage sub-contractor documentation
• Deliver timely project progress update sand reports
• Actively address compliance issues (NAPIT/MCS)

What we're looking for in a Quality Assurance Manager:

• A background in with hands on Electrical Engineering within the renewable Energy Sector
• Experience in an office based Quality Manager position
• In depth knowledge of NAPIT and MCS compliance and Electrical regulations
• Experience with on-site and virtual surveys
• Experience managing sub-contractors and the documentation involved
• Experience managing Solar PV reverts both on a domestic an commercial scale.
