At Hays, we are currently working closely with a number of schools in Oldbury, Smethwick, West Bromwich and Rowley Regis. Due to a high demand for cover positions, we are currently looking for Qualified Supply Teachers to register with our Education team. There are opportunities for both long-term and day-to-day roles. For these positions we pay a market leading rate.

Your new role
There are a wide variety of teaching opportunities to select from. Due to our well-established relationships with our schools, we can offer the best advice, making sure to find the right school for you. However, you need to be prepared to plan and deliver engaging lessons. Spark curiosity and ignite a passion for learning with young learners. Create a positive classroom environment and foster a sense of belonging, respect and inclusivity. Assess student progress, make sure to tailor your teaching to meet individual needs and celebrate achievements.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for these roles.

Previous teaching experience in a primary setting.

Enhanced Child DBS: Must have or be willing to apply for one.
