We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within a Children's Assessment Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structure and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Hull is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing a number of changes focussed on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Hull City Council.

Main duties include:

  • Producing Court Reports
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Section 47 Assessments
  • Managing a varied caseload including; Child Protection, Looked After Children and Complex Children in Need
  • Undertaking all children's social care assessments that progress through our EHASH (IE: new cases or cases that have been previously closed)

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Children's Safeguarding or Child Protection Team.
