We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within a Children's Locality Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structure and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Merton Council.

Main duties include:

    • Producing Court Reports
    • Attending LAC Reviews, Care Conferences and Child Protection Meetings
    • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
    • Section 47 Assessments
    • Core Assessments
    • Managing a varied caseload including; Child Protection, Looked After Children and Complex Children in Need

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: DIPSW, BA Hons, BSCSW. The client requests that the worker will have significant Court Experience and can work with a full caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Children's Safeguarding or Child Protection Team.
