We are currently seeking a passionate SEMH Teacher with a mandatory Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our dynamic team. This role requires someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with extra needs.

Role Overview:

  • Position: SEMH Teacher
  • Location: Chelmsford, UK
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Start Date: September 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to classes of 5-7 tailored to the specific needs of students with SEMH requirements.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Implement strategies to manage behavior and promote positive social and emotional development.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred
  • Strong understanding of SEMH issues and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to succeed.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
