We are looking for Qualified Accountants that are based in the Birmingham/Midlands Area and prepared to work in a hybrid manner.

  • You will either be a full or part qualified member of ACA, CIPFA, ACCA or CIMA. For part-qualified roles, we also consider a finance related degree level qualification or AAT Qualification (Level 4) or part-qualified with a CCAB (or CIMA) professional body along with proven experience gained within a finance, tax or accounting role.
  • Construction and/or infrastructure finance experience is required
  • Experience of working with Financial data systems and analysing and presenting financial information is also a must
  • Experience in external or internal audit would be an advantage
  • Remote working is feasible, with a minimum of 1 - 2 days in the office per week (the client’s office is based in central Birmingham)

What’s in it for you

Opportunity: Our Public sector advisory team works with central and local government, NHS and third sector bodies' on a wide range of delivery and advisory projects. Our clients are increasingly seeking to engage with our tailored, specialist services, which they are unable to deliver internally. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop or diversify their skillsets, whilst also providing the flexibility to ensure work life balance.

Development: We believe our success is intrinsically linked to yours and will provide necessary training and support whether you’re on a project or not. From helping you navigate incoming regulation for freelancers to providing dedicated points of contact and offering training, we will always be there to support, advise and help you develop.

Independence: A project focus lets you take on work as and when you want. The projects themselves will generally be full time (but we can cater for part time working as well), and the nature of the contract we have with you allows you to create room for other priorities. We know you will need scope to pursue other interests whether personal or professional. The Agile Talent Community provides you that space without restriction.

How to join:

You’ll first apply by sending your CV to us. If your skills match with what we are looking for, one of our recruiters will get in touch and walk you through the recruitment and onboarding process. If there’s interest to continue, we’ll invite you to an interview with some of our key business leads. If successful, the final step will be to complete the contracting process and background checks. Once your background checks are complete and documentation is signed, you’ll be ready to start working with our team to find the right opportunity! You’ll have a dedicated Relationship Manager, who will be able to match you with the right projects based off your availability and skill sets and making sure you are aware of the training and networking opportunities available.
