Job Title: QHSE Assistant

Location: Holmfirth

Salary: £26,000 negotiable depending on experience

Our client based in the Holmfirth area HD9 is currently looking for a QHSE Assistant to join their ever expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to take their career to the next level and join a thriving organisation.

Duties:

  • Visual inspection and coordination of sampling and testing of incoming and production materials
  • Monitoring status of agreed actions arising from the Business Management System, including continuous improvement meetings and audits
  • Administrating the SQDCE (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Environment) boards throughout the operation cells
  • Producing technical literature (Datasheets, DOP’s, MTC, MQC)
  • Assisting the development and documentation of processes and procedures
  • Assisting the QHSE Manager & Technical Manager during audits
  • Performing internal audits to ensure compliance of the BMS with ISO9001, ISO14001 and applicable legislation
  • Driving continuous improvement through identification of problems and optimisations, determining and demonstrating best practice throughout the organisation
  • Promoting safe working practice throughout the business
  • Any other duties as required commensurate with the role and level of responsibility of the post
