QESH Manager

Our manufacturing client is seeking to engage an experienced QESH Manager for their facility in Huddersfield. Reporting to the site Director you will be responsible for a small team and all quality and EHS matters pertaining to the site.

QESH Manager - Role and Responsibilities - IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO9001, ISO18001, ISO14001, SHEQ, Quality Manager

* Manage and continuously improve the Quality and EHS of the site
* Lead all processes for Quality, Health & Safety, and Product Safety
* Undertake risk management for processes
* Develop and Drive the QESH programs
* Conduct Internal audits and provide support and training on QESH matters
* Organise and lead external audits
* Take responsibility for NCR investigations and corrective actions including customer liaison

QESH Manager - Skills and Abilities - IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO9001, ISO18001, ISO14001, SHEQ, Quality Manager

* Hold either NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
* Have a mechanical engineering background and a solid understanding of ISO9001, ISO 1801 and ISO14001 systems
* Be able to work on their own initiative and lead and be part of a team.
* Experience within a machine shop environment would be useful but not essential
