Quality Control Supervisor - Nutrition - Lancashire

A premium flavours company with a global presence are looking to bring on a QC Supervisor to run the lab. This is a great opportunity for Quality Control professions to work in a quality driven expanding environment, with an outstanding global supply chain and logistics system. If you are currently working as a QC Supervisor, QC Manager or QC professional with lab management experience and able to step up it would be great to hear from you!

Ideal requirements:

  • GC-MS experience
  • People management skills / previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of Microbiology
  • A previous background in the food and beverage industry would be preferred.
  • HACCP

Role info:

  • Leading the QC laboratory and deputising for the Technical Manager
  • Supervising 2 direct reports
  • Ensuring that Good Manufacturing & Hygiene practices are followed.
  • Innovative changes to QC procedures
  • Participating in internal and external training
  • Monitor and control stock items
  • Ensuring all QC documentation is up to date and meets regulatory and customer needs.
  • Investigate and ensuring customer complaints are logged and corrective actions are implemented in accordance to company policy
  • Participate in quality meetings / HACCP reviews.
  • Assisting with external audits (BRC, customer and EHO)
