Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in xx who are actively looking to recruit a QC Laboratory Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

The QC Laboratory Technician is Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day laboratory activities in accordance with good laboratory Practices, customer, and company requirements.

  • Assist in the day to day running of the lab, this includes temperature monitoring, water testing, Culturing bacteria and yeasts, Microscopy work.
  • Carry out Qc Sterility tests.
  • Prepare media when required, there are a range of medias which need to be prepared as an when required.
  • Maintain their own paperwork, this includes recording results, and writing reports when required.
  • investigating complaints, carrying out validation work or routine dose Audits, company Audits may well be required from time to time.

What you will need to succeed

  • Understanding of microbial techniques is desirable.
  • Scientific background is essential.

What you will receive in return:

  • Monday to Friday - full time
  • £22,000 to £24,000 (DOE)
