QA Manager

The Quality Manager works closely with the quality assistant and all other departments across the business. He /she works under the supervision of the head of finance and accounting and is responsible for identifying, initiating and monitoring quality improvement processes and raising quality awareness. Is responsible for implementing the operational quality system and for setting up and updating the quality management system (HACCP, the handbook, work instructions, etcetera) The Quality Manager serves as the point of contact for suppliers, customers and co-workers regarding quality and applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the Quality Manager is responsible for correctly translating relevant laws and regulations into operational processes and procedures. The Quality Manager both advises on and co executes change and improvement processes within all departments, furthermore, selects and evaluates products, production facilities and suppliers. He/she initiates, documents and monitors any recalls of products as part of his overall quality responsibility.

Duties:

• Is responsible for identifying, initiating and monitoring quality improvement processes and raising quality awareness.
• Is responsible for correctly translating relevant laws and regulations into operational processes and procedures.
• Selects and evaluates products, production facilities and suppliers and initiates, documents and monitors any recalls of products
• Advises on and co executes change- and improvement processes within all departments.
• Has and gains insight into situations, problems and processes. De-constructs problems and systematically investigates the various components. Has a complete picture of the context and overview of the whole problem.

• Min. of three years within a FMCG setting a similar role
• Analytical
• HACCP trained
• Self-motivated and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
