Python Developer

This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work from anywhere in the UK. Occasional visits to our office near Milton Keynes may be required, typically 1-2 times a month.

As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our software platform. Leveraging your expertise in Python development, you will contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of our software applications. Experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is highly desirable.

Within this varied role you will:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using Python.

- Design, build, and maintain databases utilizing MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our software offerings.

The succesful Python Developer will have:

- Minimum of 3 years of strong experience in Python development.

- Familiarity with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is preferred.

- Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
