You love to be in the centre of it all, making the wheels turn and ensuring the are orders coming in and out! You love being busy, will be used to working in a fast paced engineering environment where you are juggling lots of parts and ensuring everything is in the right place, at the right time, with the right paperwork!
Anything that comes through the door needs to be logged and receipted, have the right certificate attached; everything needs to be traceable.
Working in a friendly team of 4 as the purchasing assistant / procurement administrator you will be working with word, excel, powerpoint and AX and will already have a good level of excel as you will be working with this daily
So as the purchasing assistant / procurement administrator what will you be doing?
- Providing administrative support to the upkeep of documents related to Warranty, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, ISO defects, and Commissioning from new installations
- Supporting the expediting of purchase orders and assisting with supplier quotations.
- Procuring stationery and supplies for multiple sites, including PPE
- Liaising with contractors/handymen for repairs, working closely with the Compliance Manager.
- Monitoring supplier performance and report defects when necessary and providing statistical analysis and forecasts
- Preparing Sales Order reports and raise Purchase Orders as needed.
- Support in the preparation for all Audit Meetings and assisting with audit paperwork
