Page Personnel are currently partnering with a global manufacturing and production business, based in Chester, who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end to end accounts payable process.

Description

  • Accurately processing invoices and credit notes
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in month-end closing procedures
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Maintaining up-to-date supplier accounts
  • Providing support in external audits
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department
  • Completing ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

The successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • AAT L2 or above (desirable)
  • Proficiency in financial software packages
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
