Forge Talent are working exclusively with a well know client who are based in Manchester City Centre and are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger clerk to the team on a temp basis for up to 6 Months. The Purchase Ledger role is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in an established company and will be hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office.

Your new role

The Purchase Ledger role will be hybrid working in their head office working in Manchester City Centre. The role will be a varied one and will include:

  • Maintenance of Purchase Ledger and processing/filing of invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Scheduling and payment of supplier invoices & employee expenses
  • Looking at historic balances
  • Monitoring & reporting of copy invoices & debit notes
  • Cleaning up ledgers of current direct debits
  • General duties


What you'll need to succeed

  • Worked in a similar role previously
  • Form effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Be able to hit the ground running
  • A supportive and flexible team worker.
  • Strong organising, administration and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a busy purchase ledger department.
  • Be immediatley available or on 1 week's notice
  • Certificated competence of IT literacy, e.g. MS Word and Excel

Salary

The hourly rate for this Purchase Ledger role would be £13.50 per hour plus holiday pay
