Purchase Ledger Clerk

AAT study support

Stockport

£25,000 - £28,000

This is your opportunity to take the bull by the horns and really broaden your purchase ledger experience. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will take full ownership of multiple ledgers, as well as work closely with the Management Accountant on month-end reporting. You are not going to find a purchase ledger role that offers more exposure than this!

If you're a Purchase Ledger Clerk who enjoys working under their own autonomy, then this role is ideal. You're going to be managing 7 small to medium-sized ledgers from start to finish, meaning you're going to have full control of your day and time. Having experience managing multiple ledgers isn't essential butmanaging at least one ledger from start to finish is.

You'll be the Management Accountants 'right hand' closing off the ledgers each month and helping to prepare accruals and journals. Within 12 months you could be working towards becoming AAT qualified and supporting the Management Accountant with balance sheet reconciliations, the level of exposure and development here is incredible.

Any Purchase Ledger Clerk who is planning ahead and wants to be in a solid role for the next 5+ years, whether it's becoming a master of purchase ledger or progressing alongside the Management Accountant, I encourage you to apply. This role is exclusive to Platinum, for a full job spec, please contact:
