We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Liverpool, who are recruiting for a Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) on a temporary three month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential for extension beyond three months. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £17 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience within Social Housing, but this requirement is flexible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the purchase ledger and processing invoices at a high volume
  • Identifying and resolving invoicing issues
  • Processing payment runs and rent postings
  • Reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Reconciling control accounts and statements
  • Maintaining and producing financial records and reports

Experience required:

  • Experience in Social Housing is desirable
  • Purchase Ledger experience

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (4.30pm finish on Friday)
