We are looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team, to work closely and assist with multiple areas of the business.

The role is part-time, for 20 hours over 5 days.

The Role

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the purchase ledger; logging invoices and credit notes onto our internal system and seeking necessary approval.

Ensuring all invoices and credit notes are coded correctly and processed in a timely and accurate manner, you will manage our accounts mailbox and resolve queries, as well as undertaking the monthly reconciliation of our company credit cards.

You also raise BACS, manual and multiple-currency payments on the banking portal, accurately allocate within our ERP system, and populate, check and process multiple purchase ledger payment runs, including weekly, monthly and stock.

About You

To be considered as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will need:

- Demonstratable experience in a similar role, including raising and processing multi-currency payments
- Experience using an ERP system
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent Excel knowledge, including vlookups, sumifs, and pivot tables
- The ability to work accurately and independently, manage your own time and workload and deliver information to tight timetables
