FRS are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a reputable construction business based in Rugby with excellent transport links from Coventry, Daventry, Lutterworth & Northampton. The business are offering an excellent salary up to £30k and an opportunity to join a growing business with fantastic career opportunities!

Working as part of a vibrant finance team & reporting into the Financial Controller - suitable candidates will have an experience of working within a high volume environment. You will be working within an energetic finance team who like to have fun whilst getting the job done!

Duties Will Include

  • Sending out request for approvals on Non P.O Invoices
  • Creating GRN for PO invoices and matching to the order in the system
  • Checking weekly payment run to ensure all invoice are paid to their relevant terms
  • Chasing VAT invoices for any Proforma’s paid
  • Request and reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis
  • Maintain supplier account information (including credit limits and terms)
  • Maintain accounts payable and info mailboxes
  • Subcontract Payment Run - check paperwork and raise any issues with other departments
  • Cashbook payments, ensure log is up to date and accurate.
  • Assist with year-end audit
  • Any other adhoc duties requested by the Finance Manager
