Hays are recruiting for a global media business based in Salford. They are currently seeking a purchase ledger clerk to join on a permanent basis working on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office).


Your new role

You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's purchasing and payment processes.On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices across the UK & Ireland.
  • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Managing and resolving supplier queries, including supplier statements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
  • Assisting the wider finance team as required.


What you'll need to succeed


The successful candidate will have a 'can do' attitude and be able to hit the ground running. You will be able to work independently and have prior experience in accounts payable. Ideally, you will have strong IT and sytem skills.
