Purchase Ledger Clerk

£24/25k + 20% annual bonus

My client is one of the UKs fastest growing Distribution businesses and are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase ledger Clerk to join their busy and fast paced Finance team.

Based out of their Manchester head office and reporting to the PL supervisor the successful candidate will have previous experience and a good working knowledge of Purchase Ledger. You will be managing your own portfolio of suppliers and will be responsible for all the accounts payable duties. Generating coding and checking invoices, working out statements and dealing with enquiries.

Main Duties will include –

  • Processing Invoices, both stock and overheads.
  • Maintain existing ledger.
  • Banking Cover.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Process business expenses for Account Managers.
  • Posting Invoices
  • Deal with Supplier queries.

The ideal applicant will have the ability to work on your own initiative and be a confident communicator with all levels of management within the company. A real can-do attitude will be vital for this position in order hit monthly deadlines and to be successful within a fast-paced team environment.
